Matinloc Sanctuary is along with Hidden Beach and Secret Beach one of the landmarks of Matinloc Island. Built in 1982, the shrine is now completely abandoned and although the island’s owners charge an entrance fee of P100 per person, there is no guided tour or obvious maintenance. Walking through the building and reaching the viewpoint of Tapiutan Island is definitely worth a stop.
