Matahum White Sand Beach Resort is a tourist spot to discover in Puerto Princesa. Located around 50 minutes south of the city, it is part of the Puting Buhangin Beach (which means “white beach” in tagalog). You can enter the place for P50 per adult and P25 per children to enjoy the view, the sandbars and the small restaurant operated by the resort.
Unlike long beaches such as Nagtabon Beach or Talaudyong Beach, Matahum Beach is located in a mangrove area. The simplest way to get there is with a rental vehicle. You will have to follow the southern road of Puerto Princesa before turning towards the town of Luzviminda and driving to the beach itself.
