Manuel made my sisters birthday one to remember by presenting her with a chocolate cake and having everyone sing to her at our lunch stop. Took so many photos of us and even helped us chase the sunset after the tour. Thank you for making it so special

The journey started well, the van (a very nice one!) left the airport a little bit late, but that was fine. But then everything started to go not so well. We were taken to a different van (a much worse van) that was 5/10 minutes away from the airport. After a lot of confusion regarding who had already paid or not, we starter the jorney properly… only to stop 5 minutes later at a shopping mall parking place so that the driver could get a grocery bag from some random lady (and when he opened the trunk door to put his bag, several of the passanger bags fell to the ground…).

Then, after almost half an hour the journey finally started! The ride was rough (but that’s the way it is with the roads we were on), but the driver was clearly speeding, which didn’t help and did not give us any confidence. We only stoped once for a bathroom brake (only 1h30 before arriving at the final destination) but stoped several times for who knows what and we weren’t allowed to (or weren’t informed if we could) leave the van.

Bottom line, we manage to get to our destination 6h after the initial start and it was cheap, but get ready for a rough and unpleasent trip

I live in cebu. Standard trike fair here is 15 pesos. A special is 70 pesos. If you’re a foreigner, they automatically assume a special most of the time. I usually just give the driver a 100 peso bill, so special plus a 30 peso tip that’s like US$2, so its still very cheap transportation. I don’t own a car so for longer trips I get a taxi or a Grab, which is more comfortable, for short trips I get a trike because you can get one in seconds. At malls or other public places there will be a line of them waiting, anywhere else they’re cruising the streets and you can just wave at them to pick you up.

Roy Dioquino and John Ray were fantastic. It’s the best tour we’ve had in Palawan, it exceeded our expectations. Food was excellent and well-catered to our dietary restrictions! Roy snorkeled with us and guided us to see an eclectic show of marine activities.

The only rooms for improvement is having an extra step on the boat ladder and better (non-leaking) snorkeling goggles. Nevertheless, this tour is still 10/10!

thanks for the info. important Q now is,what happens when a tourist gets a ticket or violates a traffic law? will he/she be treates like a regular local driver, i.e. getting citation, etc? appreciate your feedback on this.
